Packing Tips:
Electronics
Before You Begin:
Use the proper packing materials. It will pay off in the long run! Sturdy boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap and packing peanuts can all be purchased at Storage Facilities, Home Depot, Staples and other shipping companies in your area. Other great types of reasonably priced padding for your boxes include wadded up newspaper, old pillows and blankets.
The following is a list of tools & materials to make your packing go more smoothly:
-Razor Knife and/or Scissors
-Note Pad
-Permanent Marker
-Boxes of all size (Medium Home Depot Size Box is average)
-Packing Tape
-Bubble Wrap
-Packing Peanuts
**Rounded Televisions**
As of November 2019, we do not move rounded television screens unless they are properly boxed with original packing material or professionally boxed.
If you are moving this item yourself, please note that they can not be placed flat, pressed against, and do not like cold weather.
Flat Television Screens
For any other televisions, the original box is not required. If you have it, perfect. However, we do wrap everything carefully on the truck and place televisions in a secure location where they will be safe during the drive.
We do suggest if moving long distance/out of Province, that all televisions are boxed if able. Extra protection never hurts when travelling a distance from your old location.

Computers, radios and laptops
Desktop Computers to some are a thing of the past, but whether you're using a laptop or desktop, we ask that these be brought in your personal vehicle unless properly packed for our moving truck.
Like pictures, pack the computer around newsprint so the item is secure in the box. Monitors should be the same in separate boxes. If you are moving a longer distance, the better protected your devices are, the better.
